Great product! Saved me a ton of money from the dealer. Videos were easy to follow. Take your time and be patient. Start to finish took 1.5 hours. Looks great and works perfectly.
I bought a cheaper version on Amazon and it lasted less than a week. I waited six months before posting this, and I can't tell you how much better this is than even the original OEM. Very satisfied.
Upgrade upgrade upgrade real glass real class that’s all I’m gonna say
Installed today! The videos make it easy to accomplish the installation. A link from each of the two videos to the other video would be nice. I used the foam insert in the packing to keep track of the screws after the unit is removed from the car. Maybe CueScreens can print locations for these on the foam or suggest this. I just stuck the screws into the foam and they didn’t roll around.Worked perfect once I powered it back up! If anything changes, I’ll post an update.
Product looks great, it took me a couple hours to get it done; but this Cuescreen is working perfectly well .
Depending on your particular vehicle, the most difficult part of replacement will be accessing certain fasteners in your dash. The screen replacement will be very straightforward as long as you have a reasonable mechanical ability and can follow their YouTube videos, which provide vehicle specific instruction for unit removal. My ONLY gripe is that they offer a discount code in the video which I of course watched AFTER receiving the product.
Couldn't be happier!!!!
Product worked great with my 2018 Escalade. There is a great YouTube video to make it as seamless as possible as possible to repair. A professional take about 5 hours, a new beginner like myself about 8 hours!! D.I.Y. Goo for it!!!
Saved $1,300! Never done ANY car repairs/replacements whatsoever. The videos truly walk you thru every step. Pay attention to their warnings though. Could not have done it without the videos. It works great!!
Great replacement! Grateful for the YouTube videos! I had no problems at all. It took me about two hours total by myself. The trim tools are helpful and didn’t damage my interior. Screen works perfectly now.
Thank you for a great product and easy to follow UTube videos that made it possible for this 82 year old to install the new screen on my 2017 Cadillac Platinum XTS
Once I watched the installation instructions video and another on YouTube it made it so much easier. The screen works perfect and very responsive to touch. I’m glad I found Cuescreens online purchase with warranty. It really saved me thousands of dollars with the dealership. It’s very easy to replace just pay attention to each step especially the ribbon cable hookup. Thanks again, I very satisfied with with my screen.
My computer guy with little help from me got this unit installed in my Cadillac SRX in about 4 hours. That's a little longer than it should have taken but we wanted to be sure we didn't have to come back and redo anything. It looks great and everything seems to operate as it should through the cue screen. .This is an in-depth repair. My computer guy is smart and watch several Youtube videos and made a detailed outline of all the steps involved to complete the job. In the SRX it was a fairly complex job.
Easy install good video
The new screen works well. The install seems overwhelming but it is relatively simple. I highly recommend having their YouTube videos open while doing the installation.
2017 ATS, saw when I removed the console it was “refurbished”. I wonder if the touch screen already failed once before I bought the car in 2019? Regardless, the Cuescreens process saved hundreds. Following the “how-to” videos were pretty close to mine, but a few steps were slightly different, likely due to the refurbished console. In summary, it works great, I cannot recommend enough! Thank you for CueScreens for identifying this problem and creating a much more affordable repair!
The Cue System replacement touchscreen for a 2017 Cadillac ATS is an Excellent product. It fit perfectly and works as well as the original OEM screen. It can be a DIY project as long as you have an attention to detail. There are several different steps to the disassembly, so you have to pay close attention to what screws go in each location and at which step they need to be installed. If it is installed correctly, it is definitely a 5 star product. The dealer wanted $1,200.00 to $1,500.00 to do the repair L&M, by making this a DIY project, the total cost was approximately $130.00 and one hour of time 👍.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Perfect replacement at a fraction of the cost of the dealer. The original screen in my 2017 Escalade was “dancing around” thinking that the screen was being touched, scrolling through screens, etc. especially when it was hotter outside and I had my CarPlay plugged in. No visible bubbling or screen cracking like some other reports. The instructional videos on the CueScreens website were great, make sure to watch them in full before each step…a lot of small screws that you need to keep organized to put it all back together. Only issue I had was chipping a wood trim piece when I put everything back together, which was my fault. Been installed for about a week and working well.
The company that sells these has a video for installation. It was so easy to follow. My touchscreen was completing inoperable but now works like a dream. The cost was very reasonably for what I gained.
Purchased this last summer and wanted to wait to review until I knew of it worked or didn't. The only problem I have with it is when I wear my polarized sunglasses. I just have to tilt my head a little bit to see the screen clear when I'm wearing them. Otherwise, there have been no dead spots nor overly sensitive spots. The instructions were very easy and straightforward.
After months of trouble with the screen in my 2016 Chevy Colorado flickering and randomly changing radio stations I bought this product hoping it would fix the issue. Installation was pretty easy (although removing the old digitizer screen was a little scary... glass shattered so there was definitely no going back). I am happy to report that everything works well and I have had no more trouble with my media screen. The product is of good quality and there is no glare on the new screen. Great product.
2016 gmc canyon. touch screen was not responsive/freezing up more and more often. this worked perfectly. great installation video. install was not too bad. took about an hour. get wires to disconnect so i could take out console was the toughest part.
I finally found the courage to replace my Cue Screen in my 2014 last week. It took about four hours to pull the Cue system out of the car, take it apart install the new gel-free screen (this is the third and best one) and reinstall back in the car. It was worth all the trouble, I saved more than 1500 dollars doing it myself as opposed to taking it to a dealer. I installed the Cuescreens Premium Touch, Dual Mode including trim tools, worth every penny.
