This is for the 6.5" Boom! Box GTS touchscreen style radio.

This does not fit the older 6.5GT radio with the earlier button/bezel style unless the motorcycle has already been upgraded to a compatible Boom! Box GTS radio and the part number/physical screen match.

This does not fit the 4.3" Boom! Box radio.

This does not fit 2024+ Harley-Davidson models with newer infotainment screen systems unless the radio and screen physically match this part.

What This Part Is

This is a touchscreen digitizer replacement.

It replaces the outer touch-sensitive glass layer that controls touch input.

What This Part Is Not

This is not a complete radio.

This is not a complete LCD display.

This is not a software update.

This is not an amplifier, GPS module, Bluetooth module, or CarPlay repair.

This part will not repair a failed LCD image, black screen, no power condition, audio failure, Bluetooth issue, navigation issue, CarPlay issue, or motherboard problem.

If your display image is clear but the touch function is failing, this is the correct repair path. If your LCD image is distorted, black, flickering, showing lines, or has no image, further diagnosis may be needed.

Installation Notes

No reprogramming is required when replacing the digitizer on your original radio.

Installation requires removing the radio/screen assembly and replacing the touch panel. If you are reasonably handy and comfortable working with small electronics, this can be a DIY repair. 

Important installation reminders:

• Disconnect power before removing the radio
• Work in a clean, dust-free area
• Do not force the screen, housing, connectors, or ribbon cables
• Do not touch, crease, pull, or damage the ribbon cable
• Confirm all ribbon cables are fully seated and locked before reassembly
• Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable working with delicate electronics
