Sorry, I can’t find any other way of contacting you! I ordered a new screen for my 2017 Acadia and the ribbon is different. Just want to see if I’ve received the wrong one or not. This was ordered on 9/14/23 and I am just now getting to work on it. Please contact me via email if possible! Thank you!
This solved all my issues with ghost touches and freezing. Very easy installation, although Cuescreens should include in their installation video that if the 5 metal tabs on the back side of the display are bent out of the way the frame which the digitizer is adhered to is very easily removed. This saves the possibility of damaging the display as the old screen and glue are removed. Once that is done, reattach the frame to the display unit and then attach the new screen.
Just installed it, was easy and fixed it. Can’t comment on durability as this is day one. Only took about an hour.
My 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 touchscreen has not worked for almost 4 years; it just jumped all over the place and could not be controlled. My wife, who refused to go on trips in my truck because of this, found this online, ordered it, and I installed it in under 2 hours. Very easy to install if you have the right tools. Everything works great now She is so happy that I can bluetooth now, make and answe calls hands free, navigate, set up my truck settings, listen to music stations, etc. I am too!
My 2019 GMC Sierra 2500 HD had the 8" touch screen replaced by GM several years ago (right after the warranty expired). About a year ago I again began experiencing the "ghost touching" issue. GM dealer quoted about $600 for a new display (part only). I ordered and installed the Cuescreens touch screen digitizer. It took less than an hour to install and has fixed all the problems. Be sure to remove the aluminum frame from the display screen as mentioned elsewhere in these reviews.
